On February 27, this year, at the secondary school No. 29 named after F. Ongarsynova in Aktau, the regional center of youth tourism held a methodological Council on the theme «Textbook of local History: effective ways to organize travel lessons». The meeting was attended by 35 teachers. During the meeting a geography teacher of school-Lyceum named after M. Gorky in Tupkaragan district, Dzhumashev Birzhan report on the topic «Туристік жорықтар кезіндегі қауіпсіздік шаралары», told the listeners about the rules of travel and categorized hikes, about the security measures that must be observed. Nadirova Gulsim, a geography teacher of «Utes» secondary school in Mangistau district conducted hikes on the theme: «Мектептегі туристік-өлкетану жұмыстары арқылы оқушыларды ғылыми жұмысқа баулу» with pupils of the group «Kokzhiek» and «Seismic-8» to study the historical sites «Man ATA», «Sisem ATA», Hiking in the cave «Bulyoyyk» and «Karagan», during the study of rocks and minerals of the region «Tuzbayyr», were found the shark teeth that lived on the lake «Ancient Tethys», their age was determined and made a map of hikes and introduced the Mobile app «QR-Mangystau» loaded into the 3D panorama. Boranova Almagul, a history teacher at «Borankul» secondary school in Beineu district made a presentation on the theme «Тарихқа тұнған туған өлкем», which introduced pupils the historical and cultural monuments of Beineu district, such as the underground mosque «Beket-ATA», «Manashysay», «Korkembay Ata Mosque» and about the cleaning and landscaping work carried out at the burial sites and planned hikes in the near future. Summing up the results of the methodological meeting, suggestions were made to activate the work of circles and electives, organize seminars, hikes, excursions and Hiking trips on weekends on local history, country studies, create and improve the tourist material and technical base in school circles.
